I am a self-taught photographer/photo editor, who has been shooting near professional grade for over 5 years.  Photography is life's moments frozen in time, which is passed down from generation to generation.  Capturing posed or candid shots, then creating precious memories, is what photography is for me.  Not only do I take the picture... I do behind-the-scenes editing that adds my own personal touch.  Please take a look at my other pages and contact me if you have any questions or are interested in my services.

I have been with my husband since 1996.  We have three wonderful and bright children (one daughter and two sons).  We also have an adorable granddaughter who makes us smile.  My family is what truly makes me whole and completes me.

I currently work in the Troy City School District as a substitute paraprofessional (aide), but was blessed to have been a one-on-one aide for a child with Autism.  I followed her up through the grades for seven years... and loved working with her.  She taught me so much over the years.

I love to help people in general and love to volunteer in the community.  Creativity is something I enjoy greatly.  Listening to all types of music genre's gets my imagination flowing.  I write poetry when I get inspired, sometimes on the spot.  I collect mice and have an entire hutch almost filled with my collection... long story as to why.   My favorite color is one that most people consider plain, boring, or ugly... brown.  I could probably live off of spaghetti, pizza, and ice cream for the rest of my life... but my family insists that they "need" and want other foods, so I kindly oblige.

I have received special training and learned to be a diversity facilitator, in which I create and implement programs for all ages... teaching creative methods to reduce stress, find conflict resolutions, and produce "ah-ha" moments.

I did a very short stint in the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge... and although I personally don't consider myself a veteran, I am still very proud of being a part of something so brave and honorable... and our nation's flag means more to me than just a piece of cloth with colors on it waving in the air.  However, even with me being out of the Army... still to this day... I refuse to eat chili mac... and I am sure that my fellow battle buddies can attest to the dislike of this food.

Anyways, as of right now, photography is more of a hobby... but sometimes it is way more.  I find myself diving into projects that fall into my lap and love every minute I spend on them.  I devote and pride myself on quality and creativity.  Hopefully, I can prove that my passion for photography is the creative window into your world for you to enjoy now... and later... in the future.
